Im Rahmen der seit dem 27. März 2021 geltenden Verordnung (EU) 2019/1381über die Transparenz und Nachhaltigkeit der EU-Risikobewertung im Bereich der Lebensmittelkette überarbeitete die Europäische Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit (EFSA) zahlreiche administrative und wissenschaftliche Leitlinien.

In Bezug auf Lebensmittelkontaktmaterialien veröffentlichte die EFSA folgende aktualisierte Leitlinien:

  • Guidelines on submission of a dossier for safety evaluation by the EFSA of a recycling process to produce recycled plastics intended to be used for manufacture of materials and articles in contact with food - Opinion of the Scientific Panel on food additives, flavourings, processing aids and materials in contact with food (AFC) (The EFSA Journal (2008) 717
